I liked this so much that I watched it a second time through, with commentary. The commentary was by two professors and there was much talk of The Gaze and the construction of the cinematic image and Oedipal stages and so forth. It reminded me of everything I thought was silly and everything I loved about film studies. I miss college.

53. Pandora’s Box (G.W. Pabst, 1929)
Fantastic. Get ready for lots of Louise Brooks.
